The Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM), has been founded in 2000. The mission of FHM is to provide students with theoretical and hands-on skills for their later business career. Communication of management and entrepreneurship skills including trainings on designing business plan is an integral element of each study program at the FHM. There are about 3.200 students studying on BA, MA & DBA programmes within the areas of Economics, Media & Communication, HR, Health and Social Work, Tourism, and Engineering.
Part-time courses are based on the Blended Learning concept. Self-studies mostly follow by using asynchronous learning platform TraiNEX. E-learning in the sense of space independent synchronous lessons in the virtual classroom is provided by means of the software ADOBE Connect.

Kingston University is located in Greater London and has nearly 22,000 students based in five faculties and four different campuses in the Kingston area. Kingston University has been involved in Erasmus and other European initiatives from the beginning and has had an active role in Grundtvig, Comenius, Tempus and Leonardo in recent years. The Centre for Higher Education Research and Practice (CHERP) is establishing higher education studies as a discipline in its own right whilst supporting practicing staff in achieving the highest level of professionalism and scholarship at all stages of their career. CHERP’s ‘Kingston Academic Practice Standards’ (KAPS) framework based on the UK Professional Standards Framework is accredited by the UK’s Higher Education Academy and is key to recognising and developing academic and other professional staff involved in teaching and supporting learning. CHERP’s core activities are guided and informed by high quality research and scholarship across a range of higher education specialisms including Technology Enhanced Learning, and the centre has a remit to build capacity in higher education research across the University. The Centre runs a validated Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education delivered entirely by distance learning, and an MA in Research and Practice in Higher Education delivered primarily by distance learning. The Centre has substantial expertise in online and distance learning, with Centre’s Director formally being the institutional Head of eLearning.

Tiraspol State University (TSU) is the first higher-education institution in the Republic of Moldova, founded on the 1st of October 1930. TSU aims at providing initial and continuing high level training of specialists in the fields of Educational Sciences, Exact Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Services, by ensuring their competitive professional qualifications for the labor market, as well as the development of scientific research activities and capitalization on their results.
The university combines a high standard in these fields with a strong emphasis on multidisciplinarity.

Balti State University was founded in 1945. It is the center of the University Complex which embraces all levels of training specialists for the national economy (Bachelor, Master and Doctor levels), as well as continuing education of specialists who are already employed. Technical University of Moldova is the only higher educational institution in Rep. of Moldova which provides engineering training for specialists prior to the national economy. Cahul State University “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” is a public institution that was founded on June 7, 1999, and its aim is to train and provide the southern region of the Republic of Moldova with highly qualified professionals.

The purpose is developing the educational domain in the southern region of the Republic of Moldova.
Although it has a short history, the University “B. P. Hasdeu” has registered very good results both in the domain of scientific research and in the involvement of teaching staff in the organization of different extra curricular activities, programs and projects.

Comrat State University (CSU) carries out purposeful and consistent activity aimed at the development and improvement of educational, scientific and extracurricular activities, increase the quality of training, improvement of staff structure, the further development of information technology, international cooperation, the development of library databases of scientific and educational literature, of information and publishing activities.
In the university the professional training is conducted on 40 educational programs. On a professional basis, there are prepared teaching staff with higher qualification systematically.
CSU provides training of specialists in the field of Law, Economics, Agriculture and in the general direction of professional training ” Pedagogical sciences “. On two chairs at the University is providing training for the third cycle of higher education- Doctorate.

The State Agrarian University of Moldova is a unique Institution in area of agriculture in the country. Nowadays in the university have study 6000 of students under the guidance of qualified didactic staff on 8 faculties: Agronomy, Horticulture, Accountancy, Veterinary Medicine, Animal husbandry and biotechnologies, Agricultural Engineering and Auto Transportation, Cadastre and Low, Economy. It has a rich infrastructure which includes 9 teaching buildings, 14 student residences, laboratories, experimental didactic stations, the Republican Agricultural Scientific Library, a computer center etc.
In the pedagogical Laboratory of the State Agrarian University of Moldova every year are organized Life-long learning courses within International projects, International Summer Schools. University teachers are invited for consultation in agricultural enterprises of Moldova. They works like experts in the ministries and departments.

The Continuing Education Institute
(CEI, Chisinau)

The Continuing Education Institute (CEI) was established in 1993.
CEI is oriented towards meeting the requirements of those who already have a higher education qualification and wish to acquire a new profession. The main goal of CEI is training and/or retraining of highly qualified competitive specialists in most required domains: foreign languages, information technologies, business, management, financial management, educational management, accountability, psychology, law.

CEI is conducting different training courses for adults: long term, short term, professional retraining, in-service training etc.

Since its creation, during 1993-2014, CEI has trained more than 14000 specialists.

CEI is recognized and certified as competent to conduct training by the Ministry of Education of Moldova and entitled to award nationally recognized qualifications. CEI is an established training provider with experience of running vocational training courses in Moldova and with sufficient teaching, administrative, equipment, accommodation and other resources to provide training and all the learning materials required to meet the learning goals in all above mentioned areas.

CEI has highly skilled teaching staff able to develop the training materials and to conduct a qualitative training courses, more than 200 teaching materials have been developed by CEI teaching staff.

CEI has a rich experience acquired at national and international level in the adult and continuing education, in in-service training.
